BC-05 and BC-06 Photo Cartridge
1. Locate the refill plugs (on the top of the cartridge).
2. Screw the small eyelet screw that was supplied into the middle hole of the plug.
3. From left to right the colors are yellow, magenta (red), and cyan (blue).
4. You are now ready to refill.
5. Using the syringe draw 2 - 3 cc of ink from the plastic bottle.
6. Insert the needle through the vent hole at a slight downward angle into the cartridge . The cartridge contains a sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.
7. Slowly, inject the ink into the cartridge.
If the ink bubbles out of the vent hole you are filling the ink too fast. Pause occasionally and let the sponge soak up the ink. Do not inject more than 3 cc of any one color ink into the cartridge it may leak out the print head and contaminate the other colors. Each chamber may or may not take the full 3 cc of ink it all depends on how empty the chamber is. Repeat the above steps for each chamber that is empty. Replace the plug(s). Let the cartridge stand for 10 minutes before putting it back into the printer. This is to make sure that the cartridge does not leak.
